So I have crossed sea dooing off my list, and I have to say it has to be one of the highlights of my summer. I have only done this once before, when I was much younger. Thankfully the day we went was beautiful, and tons of fun on the lake, as a sail boat regada was on. We rented the sea doo's down by the Grand hotel, Jenelle and I shared one sea doo between the two of us. Needless to say I was super excited as we prepared for the adventure....Jenelle not so much; more terrified then anything.
We rented the machine for about a hour (which is defiantly long enough!) It took Jenelle about half a hour before she stop freaking out, she held on to me like a cat over a bath tub. It wasn't until I convinced her to try driving that she started to really enjoy it. Of course she grabs the controls and starts driving like a bat out of hell, laughing her head off and going 20km faster then I was! So half way through we started to really get the hang of it, by the end of things we were picking up speed and jumping the wake of power boats.
I found the whole experience amazing, its defiantly a adrenaline rush. As far as I am concerned, its the right combination of being in control and out of control. So would I do it again? OF COURSE!!!, but to be honest, I use to think that I would want to own a pair of these sea bikes one day, but I can't see myself using them on a regular basis, I feel the novelty would wear off. Thus it is my opinion its best to rent them once in a blue moon for a wet and wild ride, plus your legs get soar! My only regret is not having a water camera to take pictures on the lake with.

It's good to know that an hour is plenty of time! And what a rush, hey! I wasn't sure as I might rent it for longer (good to know). Did you guys do this recently? The weather was awesome yesterday I hear...I've been huddled in my classroom re-learning how to teach elementary these past few days.
ReplyDeletewe did it about a week ago, and man i promise a hour is good...anymore is too much as it is very hard on the body if you are not use to it, especially if you are un-flexible like I am. Man take a break from school and come hiking with me this week...you can tell me more about this robotic class
