# 59 Drive-In (Complete)

As you all know I am somewhat of a "movie buff", quality of a movie production is important to me, features such as HD sound quality, sharp screen image, special effects and great story lines are a must when spending money to watch a movie. It may or may not surprise you to hear that while watching a movie at the drive in you tend not to get great sound quality, or sharp imagery, but in this unique situation I promise you it does not matter! It can be a extraordinary and unique feeling to watch a movie outside under the stars, while you tune into your radio and listen to the scratchy quality of a movie on a giant white board. Honestly I prefer the old fashion way rather then the high def blue ray, 3-D way. I promise that if you watch a movie this way it will be so much more memorable, compared to just heading to your local movie theater.  Even though the movies we watched were diary of a wimpy kid and probably the 6th Jason Bourne movie, I'll never forget them as I sat under the stars with Jenelle. (Not to mention its the cheapest "cinematic adventure" you can have these days).

So would I go again? Most defiantly, this is not the first time I've gone, I always love going and plan to go every year for as long as I can, I love the feeling of being part of something that feels so nostalgic. Highlight of the night had to be when Jenelle fell asleep on my shoulder and I looked up at the sky and was amazed by the clarity of the star filled atmosphere( you don't get that in the city). The only downfall of the drive-in is the super late drive back home, but regardless its worth it. Cant Wait to do it next time!

#66 Kangaroo Creek (Complete)

A Day Down Under

So I have completed #66 on my list, and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. I put Kangaroo Creek on the list mostly because it was something that Jenelle was so excited about. I had been to many "petting zoo's" before, Armstrong Fair, PNE, Croc Talk, Parrot Island, Etc. This Zoo is defiantly different, it comes with a land down under vibe;  has unique animals such as parrots, emus, wallabies and kangaroos.

What was super great about the whole experience is that not only was it close to get to, but its also 100% FREE! (Please donate though). The whole experience was also a great reminder of how unique small communities like lake country can be, for example how many places in BC can you think of that have a Kangaroo Farm! The animals also seemed to be well looked after, which is always a plus!.

Although the kangaroo's were cool if I had to pick a favorite, I'd have to go with the Emus. I am not really a bird guy, but these creatures are so cool to be close to, they present as being very prehistoric like, and run like funny fuckers!!! Although the main attraction was a bran new baby albino wallaby who was still in his sack.( Pretty awesome to hold something that small)

Jenelle's favorite was defiantly the miniature goats, such comical little dudes! The highlight was defiantly when Jenelle picked one up for a picture and it chewed her hair up, leaving some grassy slop in her hair.(LOL) 

The only downfall was during the kangaroo tour, Jenelle SOMEHOW puncher her foot on a branch, causing blood to GUSH everywhere! This resulted in us leaving early for medical attention...but it was ok, it was a hot day and we had seen enough by this point. So with the exception of blood and pain it was a fun trip!

Would I go again? Probably not, unless if I had kids with me, its pretty obvious that kids add a new whole excitement factor to the experience. I defiantly enjoyed it and don't have any regrets, but its a one time deal.

The List

Hey Team!
Welcome to my new blog, as you know I have had many attempts at blogging and never seem to follow through with it. I am hoping that my goal of having a bucket list, will develop a purpose and need for my desire to blog. Thus I have started this diary of a blog, focusing on the development of my journey through the process of my bucket list. I use the term bucket list because I simply have no better choice of words to describe this list, by no means is it a bucket list, I have no plans to "kick the bucket". Secondly the concept of a bucket list is unappealing to me, the idea of having a list that you are cemented into suggests to develop a rigid structure for ones life. In fact this list is more of a 10 year list, I hope that through this journey I get to experience a lot of great new things as well as re-experience some old things....I also feel that as I stumble through this process I am most likely going to come across great ideas for a future list...therefor this is my 10 year list not my bucket list. My final reason for placing my plans in this blog is to allow people the ability to stay in tune with what i am doing, and encourage them to take part along the way.

PS I think part of my inspiration to do this sparked after the crew and I completed the Juan Da Fuca trail( AKA Guna FUCKYA trail)... It made me realize that I should place more emphases in reaching out and trying different things that could bring me joy or past things that have always and remain to be amazing.
